Disney's PhotoPass + is a product you can pre-purchase (14 days or more) before your Disney World or Disneyland Vacation. It is also available once you arrive for your vacation but costs more, so if you feel that this item is right for you I highly suggest pre-purchasing it before your vacation to save some money.
What it includes is:
~A PhotoPass + card (voucher for card if you pre-purchase)- this card you show to the PhotoPass Photographers and at the attraction and dining locations that also have photographs.
~ Disney's Photo Gallery CD
~A unique code to create and order a PhotoCD with all of your photos taken by Disney's Photopass photographers.
~Print Packages at select Dining Locations ($29.95 each when purchased sepatately)
~Digital Photos from select Attractions ($14.95 each if purchased separately)
Here is what I learned about this card/product.... If you love to have a family picture taken in front of the castle, in various locations throughout the parks, purchase the photo packages at select dining locations that offer this service, and purchase all the ride photos or you don't want to think about *which* ride photos you want, or pass up on one photo package for another and the other doesn't turn out as well as you hoped, then this is definately for you!!!
A couple (not family) sitting next to us at Chef Mickey's Character breakfast had this PhotoPass + on our recent vacation so I asked her about it, she said she had PhotoPass photographers take over 100 pictures so far for her between the 4 Disney World Parks and 2 Water Parks, plus she had added 20 or more ride photos and gotten the photo packages from 3 restaurants so far. All she had to do was show her PhotoPass + card and they either added the photo digitally to her card or handed over the photo package. If this is what a couple can do over a few days, it's crazy to think about what a family could do over a week vacation. I am going to try this out on my next Disney Vacation to the Walt Disney World Resort in September, along with some other things as well, and report back to all of you on my findings. Free Dine Offer Options
I wanted to explain some options with the Free Dine Offer. I know some guests/clients are confused about it and how it works. The arrival dates it is valid for is August 25-September 29, 2012. Which means if you are checking in on August 24th and staying for 7 nights you WILL NOT recieve the Disney Dining or Quick-Service Plan for Free. But if you were to book a one night stay (room only) at your same resort for your first night and then book your package for the remaining 6 nights you would then receieve the Plan for Free! It is kind of the same if you want to go at the end of September into early October, as long as you check in by Sept 29, 2012 you will receive the plan for free and you can book up to 14 consecutive nights.
You must book a minimum of 5 nights for this offer, and a maximum of 14 nights. If you are staying in a Value Resort (except The Art of Animation Resort) you will recieve the Quick -Service Dining Plan for Free. If you are staying at a Moderate Resort or higher you will receieve the Disney Dining Plan for Free. You may also Upgrade the Free Plan you receieve to the Deluxe from Regular Dining Plan or to either the Regular Dining Plan or Deluxe Plan from the Quick-Service Plan. The price you would pay to upgrade is just the difference in cost from what you have to what you want. So for example if the Quick-Service Plan is normally going to cost you $500 for your family and Regular Dining Plan is $750 you would pay $250.
To book this offer you must book by May 18, 2012. It is always possible they could extend the booking window or even the dates it is available but the rooms are limited with this offer so the earlier you book the better and there are no guaruntees they will do that. A room can be put on hold for up to 7 days with names and chilrens ages (if applicable). The deposit is $200 and the final payment for your package is due 45 days prior to arrival date. Dining Reservations can be made 180 days in advance so as of today if you check-in on or before September 16, 2012 you can do dining reservations for that day plus 10 if you are staying on property.

Free Customized Park Maps from Disney
A few weeks ago I was putting things together for a clients vacation and I came across these Free Customized Disney Park Maps. The only problem was to order them it could take 4-6 weeks to arrive which wouldn't have worked for my clients. I decided I would just order some for myself so I can see if they are really worth it, or if it would just be better to print them off at home. I received them in the mail yesterday and am still in amazement by them.
Sorry, that some photos are upside down! The paper is really nice and thick, and they are two-sided. I might even frame some of them in time, you can only order a set every 6 months. I want to order a new set after our Disney World Vacation in September, when it shows the new Fantasyland. My suggestion is that if you have recently been to DW or are going soon, once you get home order these maps and put all the rides you rode under My Favorites for a little keepsake for you or your kids to remember what you did on your family vacation. If you want to frame them like me, you will have to order 2 sets (6 months apart). I don't feel these are meant to be taken to the park with you, just print off a set at home if you want one with your selected favorites. The ones you print off at home are not nearly as nice, I am, for sure, going to pass this info on to all my clients, friends and family!

Disney Visa Cardholders can book a Magic Your Way package with a FREE Disney Dining Plan for travel dates 8/25/12 - 9/29/12. You must purchase a package that includes a minimum of 3 nights accommodation at an Walt Disney World resort and a minimum 2-day Base Ticket at full price.
Guests who book a vacation package at one of Disney’s Value Resorts with their Disney Visa will receive Disney’s Quick Service Dining Plan.
